Maple Hollow Farm Tree Makes it to the Top!

A 5′ white spruce from Maple Hollow Farm made it 129th and Broadway this week as part of the topping off ceremony for the new Lenfest Performing Arts Building at New York’s Columbia University.  While there are no wood beams, and therefore no tree spirits to appease as in the old days, the topping off ceremony celebrates the final beam of a new building.  What a ride!
