the first wreath

September 9, 2014

Just as the weekend heat went stiff by Sunday evening, we got our wreath workshop humming.  After seeing fields of blue spruce lit up under the moon this summer, we thought it would be cool to add these hard to find wreaths to the selection this year.

Typically, you never see a spruce wreath, since most of the wholesale wreaths use Balsam greens.  But not only do the blue spruce practically glow at night, they smell just amazing!  We made a few practice wreaths early to see how well they hold up and how best to time their creation this fall.
